NCTF Results: Planning a Course for the Face and Under Eyes

Published: October 15, 2026

NCTF results should be discussed before your first appointment, including what change is being targeted and how progress will be reviewed. A clear plan helps you decide whether the time, cost and recovery involved fit your expectations.

Is NCTF a single treatment or a course?

FILLMED’s UK product information describes a course of sessions rather than a universal one-off appointment. Your practitioner should explain the schedule appropriate to the exact product, area and current instructions. A course advertised online is not a substitute for an individual assessment.

When should you assess progress?

Ask when a review would give a meaningful picture of your response. Immediately after injections, swelling or small raised marks can affect how the skin looks. An immediate photograph should not be treated as proof of a lasting result.

Instead, agree a review point with your practitioner. Keep the lighting, camera angle and facial expression as similar as possible when comparing images. If makeup is used in one photograph but not another, the comparison becomes less helpful.

What changes should you look for?

Choose a small number of relevant goals. These might relate to the appearance of superficial lines or overall skin quality, depending on your assessment. Avoid judging a skin-quality treatment against an unrelated expectation such as removing a deep hollow or changing facial shape.

How long will NCTF results last?

There is no single duration that can be promised to everyone. Ask what supports the estimate you are given and whether it applies to the area being treated. A maintenance plan should follow assessment of your response, rather than being presented as an automatic commitment.

What if you are disappointed?

Arrange a review and describe the specific concern. Bring comparable photographs if available. Ask whether the original goal remains realistic and what the options are, including pausing further treatment. Booking more sessions without reviewing the first course is not a useful way to resolve unclear expectations.
