Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Wrinkles on the face primarily the forehead area, around the eyes and between the eyebrows can be treated with a protein called Botulinum Toxin. This toxin works very well in reversibly weakening the muscles responsible for wrinkles which are dynamic and form upon expression of the face.
I offer consultations for all clients for anti-wrinkle injection treatment and after thorough analysis I prescribe bespoke tailor-made prescription to suit the individual clients needs and this is then injected. The anti-wrinkle injections can be used to treat forehead ‘worry lines’, ‘frown lines’, ‘crow’s feet’ (fine lines which form around the corners of the eye on expression and laughing). I also offer a range of advanced anti-wrinkle treatments aswell to treat other concerns as listed below.
In non-surgical aesthetics, the amount of toxin used is small and extremely safe. The toxin reversibly weakens the muscles which upon movement produce dynamic wrinkles and fine lines. Static wrinkles;lines that appear at rest, do not usually improve with Botulinum Toxin.

Frown Lines
Frown lines (Glabella lines) are most commonly seen in patients with excessive sun exposure and those who have over activity of these muscles often associated with frowning. Frown wrinkles are vertical lines and can signal emotions such as anger, anxiety or fear, these can be successfully treated with Botulinum Toxin.
Forehead Wrinkles
Forehead wrinkles appear in horizontal lines in the area between the eyebrows and the hairline. These wrinkles are formed during facial expression to convey emotions such as surprise or empathy.
Eye Wrinkles/Laughter Lines (Crow’s Feet)
Crow’s Feet wrinkles (Peri-orbital wrinkles) are in the outer corner of the eyes and appear more when laughing or smiling. Crow’s Feet Wrinkles can result from excessive sun exposure combined with the skin becoming less elastic with age.

Treatment time
20 minutes
Anaesthetic
The needle used for this procedure is very fine and painless, occasionally if pain is experienced a topical numbing anaesthetic cream can be applied pre treatment.
Treatment course
The effects of the Botulinum Toxin are reversible and wear off and so generally re-treatment is required every 3 months.
Advanced areas such as the Jawline for masseter muscle treatment and jawline slimming can last longer up to 18 months.
Down time, Back to work
No downtime is required, although there are specific after care protocols all of which are advised to each client so that they are aware of what can and cannot be done post treatment.
Risks and complications
Safe points for injection are marked up and treated to minimise the risks of complication, although they cannot be ruled out altogether. Swelling, slight bruising, bleeding, dry eye, drooping brow, blurred vision
