Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a gentle yet effective in-clinic exfoliating treatment that removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz, instantly leaving your skin looking brighter, smoother, and more radiant.

Using a sterile surgical blade at a 45-degree angle, dermaplaning carefully exfoliates the surface of your skin to remove built-up dead skin and fine vellus hairs (commonly known as “peach fuzz”). This process not only smooths the skin but can also help soften the appearance of fine wrinkles, acne scarring, and sun damage. It’s completely non-invasive and typically requires no anaesthetic, making it a great option for those wanting noticeable results without discomfort or downtime.

Dermaplaning is suitable for a range of skin concerns, especially when you want your skin to look its best. It’s used to treat:

  • Acne scars

  • Dull or uneven skin tone

  • Dry or flaky skin

  • Sun-damaged skin

  • Fine lines and surface wrinkles

It’s also a perfect treatment before big events or as part of a regular skincare routine to maintain a smooth, even glow.

Treatment Area: Face only
Treatment Time: 40 minutes for a standard facial, up to 60 minutes for the Dermaplane Deluxe (which includes a pre-treatment EZCO2 gel mask and post-treatment LED therapy)

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

What to Expect After Your Treatment

Most clients notice visibly smoother skin straight after treatment, with a fresh, polished finish that lasts for weeks. Redness may occur for up to 24 hours, and a slight tingling or sensitivity is normal, especially if the EZCO2 gel mask is used. Any mild soreness from exfoliation typically resolves within 2 to 3 days. There’s usually no downtime, so you can return to daily activities immediately. However, your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight post-treatment, so SPF is essential to prevent pigmentation and sun damage.

How Often Should You Book Dermaplaning?

For optimal skin renewal and maintenance, a dermaplaning facial is recommended every four weeks. Whether you choose the standard or Deluxe version, regular treatments can improve skin texture, reduce buildup, and help maintain a consistently glowing complexion. If you’re unsure which option is right for you, we can guide you during your consultation.
